Worst Blogger ever

Sooooo Ive officially come to the conclusion that I am the worst blogger ever! I never write more than once a month... if that lol. I guess if I knew I had a lot of followers I might blog more... I think. Or would I blog less?! I dont know. haha. Its definitely relieving to just take some time out of life and type your feelings and in my case, whats going on in the life of Sarah Robinson. I guess theres just been so much happening lately that I feel so behind. I question where to even begin! And then I procrastinate blogging... and it just goes full circle. Its just like journaling... I cant tell you how many times I go through my journal and theres a date like January 2nd 2001 and I say "I am the worst journal keeper ever. From now on I will write every day." And then the next page is August 25th 2002 and it says "I am seriously the worst journal keeper ever! From now on I will write every day" haha and then another year goes by. SOmeone reading my journal would think... this girl is insane! Well as the definition of insane is something like "doing something repeatedly and hoping to get a different result" I guess that proves that to be true! haha.

But yes. Well... I guess to begin, I should say that... I AM ENGAGED!!!!! :D


The ironic thing about that is I'm pretty positive everyone that reads my blog already knows, but I guess I repeat it just in case a straggler runs into this blog and wants to know ;) Its actually been really fun being engaged. I mean, I always knew it would be, but really, everyone helps make it really really fun and exciting.
For example, Trevor and I went to my old ward on Sunday. There was a good turn-over of members in the ward but many of the people that saw trevor and I go through the dating rollercoaster in the beginning were there! It was fun thinking back at all the times someone would come up to us and say "you guys are SO cute together." It actually wasnt until I leaving the conference center just a few weeks ago, arm in arm with Trevor and running into an old friend who always commented how she loved seeing us together. When we ran into her this time, I told her the news. She just smiled and said, "yeah I knew it was gonna happen." It was just too funny. But yes so in relief society, which about half or so girls I still recognized, I announced I was engaged. The room erupted in gasps and cries of joy! haha. It was so fun! People were congratulating me left and right and grabbing my hand to look at my ring. And then gasping again. lol. It was all too fun to see a 6 dollar ring at clairs make girls and boys gasp! (The real ring is coming in this weekend-Trev and I couldnt wait that long to make it official) Ill make sure to post what that one will look like when I blog about me going with Trev to pick it out ;)

If Sunday wasnt enough, on Monday a girl in my Expository Writing for Elem Ed majors class saw the new addition on my left hand and begged me to tell the story! Pretty soon the whole class was listening as I told how Trevor proposed. Everyone sighed and gasped and awwwed at all the right times. I got so much attention, and have actually made new friends from just becoming engaged! Who knew... ;)

So... as sit here in the Shurb Sciences Lab and consider all the homework I have yet to do as well as I think about all the things I want to put on this blog, I realize that slow and steady will win the race at the end. Im hoping to write once a week. We will see how this goes. Maybe a year will go by and I will say the same thing haha, proving I really am a bit crazy, but hopefully I can hold true. I will make sure to add any wedding updates and the like! Wish me luck!
