25 Random Things About Me

This '25 random things about me' idea has been going around facebook, and I thought it would be fun to think and learn a bit more about myself as well as let you know too! :)


~1~ First and foremost, my favorite thing in the world are smiles! What a wonderful way express happiness! I love to smile. If my mouth didn't get so tired, I would smile all the time-maybe even in my sleep (that might be a little strange lol) Also, the smile of someone is one of the first things that attracts me to them.

~2~ The second thing about me, which seems very appropriate following smiling lol, is laughing. I remember in high school, in one of my classes, we all received a particular award in reference to our personalities. I got the "Perpetual Laughter" award. I laugh at everything-the worlds worst jokes, tickling (Im very tickle-ish) and even at almost inappropriate things. Just the other day my roommates and I were watching TV and a commercial for an emergency button for the elderly came on. It showed an old woman falling to the floor. I burst out laughing, and all my roommates stared at me like I was nuts...yes, very inappropriate. I also love to make others laugh (especially with my stupidity). I want to laugh just thinking about it! lol.

~3~ I love basketball. Anyone that knows me well knows that Sarah Robinson and Basketball are the same thing. I love it, and cant ever get enough of it! I love to watch it, play it, listen to it, smell it lol, and... I guess eat it? I want to coach it someday! My favorite thing is to go to the RB and play a pick up game with 9 other guys and being capable of schooling half of em -teehee...

~4~ I absolutely love people. I love helping people, watching people... just being around others! I love it and its what keeps me energized. People are just amazing!


~5~ I love being a redhead! Even though Rachel always teased me that I had strawberry mush for brains, I wouldn't change it for the world. Something strange is that my hair does change from being really blonde to really red on random days; people always ask me if I dye it. There are a lot of redheaded people here at BYU but despite that, It makes me feel different, and I'm always getting compliments lol.

~6~ I love to exercise! Exercising to me is one of the most fun things to do. Whether I go for a run, or play a game of Ultimate, I interact with others, get my heart pumpin', and feel good afterward. It is a great passed time :)

~7~ Cleaning is therapeutic to me. I love to do the dishes, mop the floors, vacuum, dust, you name it, and not have to worry about anything else. Just blast the tunes and I'm off in my own world lol.

~8~ If I had unlimited amount of money I would travel the world!! -I mean... who wouldn't?!?

~9~ I brush my teeth with hot water...( I know, I'm strange) but they get cleaner that way, I swear. I also sing in the shower too ;p ~10~ I am very easily surprised/scared. I could watch you hide behind a corner and even have someone count down to when you would jump out and guaranteed I would still scream. lol.

~11~ I hate sleeping in!! Even on Saturdays... I rarely sleep passed 10am (even if I don't go to bed till late) and if I do, I feel like Ive wasted the day away.

~12~ I love the number 12! Not only because I was born on the 12th day in May but because that's when a lot of eventful things happened in my life-I was in Young Women's, I could do baptisms for the dead, AND mostly because the number 12 was John Stockton's number :)

~13~ I love precipitation! I love feeling the rain fall down (Which is why I dont own an umbrella) or the snow fall. I just love it!

~14~ I hate learning new board games or card games. Im just not patient, I just want to jump right and know it (still working on it) -but then eventually I love to play them!

~15~ If I could have any job in the world, I would want to be a Movie Director (right after being a mom of course :D )

~16~ I can eat anything. I dont particularly like every food but I can eat it, I just dont enjoy eating it. On fear factor, the easiest part would be the eating part for me lol. Whats a slug vs a whopper? lol

~17~ I love love love kids and so I believe big families are the way to go. haha surprise to anyone?

~18~ My favorite color is blue-specifically navy blue. I love to wear blue too... I guess they say it brings out my eyes. Its definitely convenient to be here at BYU for that reason. Half my wardrobe is BLUE! :)

~19~I love the Mountains! I just cant get enough of them!

~20~ I am definitely a dog kinda girl. I love dogs. I want to have one someday, to run with it, to play with it, to have that extra pal who wont talk your ear off lol. -though, they are pretty expensive...

~21~I am a Chocolate-aholic. I openly admit that I am addicted. I eat one tiny piece of chocolate, and I will eat it and eat it until I get sick. Every time. Lol.

~22~I often talk with a British accent. I think it softens what you say sometimes. I also think sercretly I wish I was British.

~23~ Cereal is an appetizer, a snack, a meal... anything! Its one of God's greatest creations.

~24~ I LOVE being LDS. I was in a mission prep class the other day and the instructor asked us what our life would be like without the gospel. I couldnt help but picture myself with tattoos (haha though I HATE tattoos), gothic clothes, maybe a belly button ring, and worst of all the feeling of being absolutely lost within this world, not having the spirit as my constant companion. How lucky I truly am!

~25~ In 25 years I see myself married, living in the outskirts of some city, with 6-8 kids (half boys, half girls-maybe some twins thrown in there-crossing my fingers lol), teaching 3rd grade in a local elementary school, and coaching the varsity high school basketball team. That would be the life!

I have so many I could add more to this list. I hope this helps define who I am. I love life. It has so many interesting aspects to it and I cant get enough of it!
