A Night at the Lights!

So we decided that we wanted a girls night on the town! So we all curled our hair, put on make-up, and drove to Salt Lake to see the many colorful lights. We made sure to stop at Fuddruckers to celebrate my roommate Alyssa's birthday on the way up.

Seeing the lights was my first time! Temple Square looked beautiful with all the decorations and it wasn't too cold outside!

THE BYU VS UTAH GAME

On the car ride to Salt lake we enjoyed treats and listening to tunes. After we finally found the university and found a parking spot along the street, we went and took photos on some random persons lawn. Heres a photo of Trevor and I before we got our Faces Painted.

Here we are painting our faces as U of U people were walking by on the sidewalk watching us. This photo just shows not only our dedication to BYU, but Trevors artistic talents as well :p

When we finally finished making a mess in the leaves with all the paint, (haha mostly me spilling blue paint everywhere) we decided to take a "tough" photo. Yeah, we're pretty hard core... not gonna lie :p

Walking to our seats was the craziest parts of the trip. As we crossed campus and finally reached the stadium, a swarm of red surrounded us everywhere. People glared at us, hissed at us, made not-so-friendly gestures, and so werent so sober either lol. Trevor and I ended up somehow getting separated from Greg and Becca and we ran into a huge group of Utah Students. That was one of the craziest experiences Ive ever had. They yelled profanities, one guy came up right behind Trevor and I and just screamed at the top of his lungs. I seriously thought I was going to get mobbed. It was hilarious! I made sure to keep a hand on Trevor's arm so that we wouldnt get separated and a smile on my face to show that no matter what, I was here to support BYU, and no Utah nutcase was going to change that.

Well, even though it was very disappointing to watch Max Hall throw the game away, we had a lot of fun. It was fun sitting with the few BYU fans and almost getting the feeling that just because they were wearing blue, we were like family lol. So, even though we lost, going to this game really made me grateful to be a student at BYU. I truly do love this school!

Hehe... also a side note, we missed the last 5 minutes of the game because we decided that it wasnt worth it to get hassled on the way out of the stadium. We booked it outta there pretty dang fast :p
